Artist Bio

I am a Graphic Designer/Illustrator/Urban Sketcher here in Meadville where I work full-time at Bull Moose Marketing as a Graphic Designer, and on the side I create urban sketches of local and regional landmarks. Besides art, I enjoy traveling to national parks, hiking, kayaking and being adventurous in the outdoors!

My urban sketching collection has been built on the simple fact that I admire modern, rustic and historical architecture. For each piece I create there are three attributes I want to highlight: The character of each structure, the uniqueness of its style and the vibrancy of the color it shows. Each building is different in their own way and it takes some time to study that prior to me starting to sketch so I know what I want to accomplish in the end. This style of illustration has allowed me to draw freely with a lot of joy, whether it’s putting marker to paper or using a marker brush on my tablet, and being able to put down just enough detail to capture the urban landscape in my own unique way.
