Opportunities to Connect, Create, and Collaborate
Reiki Sound Experience w/ New Blue Light Vision Council
Sit back, lay around, get cozy, close your eyes, and let yourself RELAX.
Allow your body to absorb the frequencies and vibrations, on a cellular level. Meditate, imagine, sleep, trance, to aid in your own well being, and paths to self healing.
Science, Spiritual History, and Myself, have combined testimonies, dating back thousands of years, that encourage sound as guides of creation. Many instruments, including Crystal Singing Bowls, Gongs, Chimes, Drums, Mantra, Chant, Spiritual Focus, and Reiki intention, are used to manifest this atmosphere of “Reiki Sound”.
The only way to really feel this though, is to EXPERIENCE it.
We encourage signing up, due to space considerations, but drop in is welcome as well. Donations are welcomed and much appreciated!
Comfort is utmost important, dress cozy. Please feel free to bring a lawn chair, floor mat, blanket, sleeping bag, pillow, beverages, snack, eye masks, your favorite aromatherapy scent, and teddy bear.
This event is hosted by Julie DeLeon, sound artist, reiki practitioner, and founder of the New Blue Light Vision Council.
Stall: A Staged Reading and Workshop
Join us for a workshop as we read scenes from a new original play, Stall, written by local author and playwright, Brenna Thummler. Stall is a story of identity, self-acceptance, and imaginary frienemies, set in a college dorm bathroom. This original show will see its debut at Meadville Community Theater in June. Be among the first to read excerpts from the play and be part of the creative process of building a new theater piece! Participants are invited to read or listen. This workshop is not considered an audition. (Those will happen at MCT in March).
This event is free and open to the community! Donations to support arts programming in our community are gratefully accepted!
